With "Next-Generation Support", SAP promises its customers self-service components, digital interaction with support in real time, a particularly good digital customer experience, for example through build-in support with the help of SAP CoPilot, and the use of innovations such as AI and Machine Learning. Objective: Enquiries should be answered in real-time, as far as possible, as a prerequisite for real-time business models. At the DSAG Annual Congress 2018, I wanted to know from Andreas Heckmann, Head of SAP Support, what support services SAP customers will need in the future, how SAP will support end-to-end digital processes in hybrid systems, where the differences between ECC and SAP S/4HANA support requests lie, and what impact innovations (machine learning, AI, predictive analytics, ...) have on SAP support.
It is usually managed with a mix of flexible on-site resources and remote support, depending on your budget and requirements. With Incident Handling, our first goal is to eliminate the impact on your business as quickly as possible. Although we cannot guarantee to solve the problem immediately, we will always set up a workaround so that you can maintain business continuity.
High SLA Levels
The opportunities offered to us and our customers by these new technologies are still in their infancy. We expect a lot to happen in this area in the next few years. We're already showing where the journey is with our Built-in Support today. Support is integrated into the product via SAP CoPilot. Artificial intelligence ensures that the customer can talk to the system - keyword Conversational AI. In the background, the Digital Support Assistant uses the system context and other data to provide quick answers to technical customer questions. In the future, some questions will not even be asked, because the customer in the application already gets the necessary support and hints through his digital assistant to avoid possible problems. For SAP S4/HANA Cloud applications, we have been offering build-in support since this year's SAPPHIRE and are now expanding the range of services. We have already identified a number of scenarios where artificial intelligence can add significant value. Incident Solution Matching, a machine learning-based search for solutions, is already in operation within SAP and will soon be available to customers.
We offer the block-by-block solution of the software service support and targeted advice on SAP solutions. We run databases, monitor the SAP landscape, manage changes (transfer) and implement the update blocks, and set up backup/backup and system restore. In addition to the "Base" block, we resolve incidents 24/7, evaluate the need to change SAP Notes, databases, and operating systems for SAP applications. We install and deploy SAP Solution Manager. In addition to the "Advanced" block, we develop the company strategy, build and maintain the SAP landscape, and pull applications to new operating system versions, databases, and SAP platforms.
The "Shortcut for SAP Systems" tool is an excellent tool for handling many tasks in SAP Support more easily and quickly.
SAP users do not necessarily know why something is not working.
The SAP Solution Manager is available for on-premise focused customers.
