Transactional and Native or Analytical Tiles in the FIORI Environment
Let's say that a user - we call her Claudia - should be able to edit the spool jobs of another user - in our example Dieter - in the transaction SP01. What do you need to do as an administrator? Each spool job has a Permission field; By default, this field is blank. If Claudia wants to see a Dieter spool job, the system will check if Claudia has a specific spool job permission with a value of DIETER. Claudia does not need additional permissions for its own spool jobs that are not protected with a special permission value.

Changes to SAP user data should be uncomplicated and fast. Users can make requests for SAP systems themselves. In exceptional and emergency situations, SAP users should be assigned extended authorizations quickly and for a limited period of time. Simplified assignment and control of exception authorizations in SAP systems is required. You can freely and flexibly determine the duration of these authorization assignments. Decisions can be controlled and monitored across systems. Whether it's recertification of SAP users, vacation requests or birthday wishes: all these things can now be processed and managed centrally in one place.
Copy values from the Clipboard to the transaction's PFCG permission fields
The SU10 transaction, as the user administrator, helps you maintain bulk user master records. You can now also select the user data by login data. You're probably familiar with this. You have blocked users, for example, so that a support package can be included. Some users, such as administrators, are not affected. For collective unlocking, you only want to select users with an administrator lock. The mass maintenance tool for users in the transaction SU10 is available for this purpose. This transaction allows you to select by user and then perform an action on all selected users. Until now, users could only be selected by address data and permission data.

If the proliferation has occurred because the authorization concept was not adhered to, a cleanup is sufficient. If the proliferation has arisen because there are errors and gaps in the authorization concept, these errors must be identified, eliminated and the authorizations optimized. If the concept can no longer be implemented in a meaningful way, or if it has already been set up incorrectly, it will be necessary to create a new one.

However, if your Identity Management system is currently not available or the approval path is interrupted, you can still assign urgently needed authorizations with "Shortcut for SAP systems".

Authorizations are no longer made available to the user via "transaction entries" in the menu of a role.

Changes to SAP user data should be uncomplicated and fast.
