Customise SAP_ALL Profile Contents
Set up permissions to access specific CO-PA measures
If the ID is maintained for all affected clients, there is no longer a risk that the six digits used from the fifth position of the generated profile name will be the same. For more information on how to handle generated profiles in complex system landscapes, see Tip 54, "Managing Generated Profile Names in Complex System Landscapes.".

Unlike the EWA, the SOS is able to list users that require extensive permissions. So you can maintain a whitelist. We recommend that you deal with the results of the SOS as follows: Verify that all identified users require critical permission. Complete the users who need this permission in the whitelist. Remove this permission from other users.

Users' favourite lists provide valuable information about the transactions they use. With the knowledge of the favourites, you can therefore avoid gaps in your authorisation concept. In the SAP system, each user has the ability to save frequently used functions as their own favourites. In practice, we have found that this feature is very often used by users. If you create a new permission concept, it is useful to include the favourites in the viewing. Because the favourites don't just store used transactions over and over again, but also transactions that users use only occasionally. These occasional transactions could be quickly forgotten when redesigning a eligibility concept. Therefore, we always recommend that you match the transactions you have considered with the favourites stored in your system.

Do you have considerable care effort due to additional roles that you cannot deduce? Create a new organisational level to solve your problems. In the SAP system, you can create derived roles for specific fields in authorization objects. This is possible only if these fields are organisation levels. Unfortunately, not all fields that you need as an organisation level are laid down in the standard as such, such as the cost centre. It may also be that you only use one sales organisation in your company and would therefore like to define the sales office. So there are several reasons why you want to define a field as an organisational level. We will explain how this works and what you need to consider.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

These should then be evaluated accordingly and included in the appropriate eligibility roles for the correct handling of the transactions.

If there are users in the daughter systems for which the value in the columns of the Contractual User Type and Value in ZBV Central differ, either the IDoc of the ZBV has not yet been processed, or the user type has been changed locally.
