After the addition of Java Stack (the applications developed in J2EE, BSP, JSP, etc.), the security standard for business processes was increased. Both ABAP and Java stack can be monitored from one platform. There are the following reasons that may lead to the termination of this step: TP_INTERFACE_FAILURE: Unable to call tp interface. TP_FAILURE: The tp programme could not be run. For more information, see the SLOG or ALOG log file. COMMAND_FILE_IMPORT_FAILURE: Unable to import the Object List to one or more Support Packages. The protocol of the Commandfile import contains the cause of the error. OBJECTS_LOCKED_? This step checks to see if there are any objects left in unreleased jobs that will be overwritten during the commit.
The database layer is used to store all company data and consists of the database management system (DBMS) and the data itself. In every NetWeaver system there is a database server on which the SAP database is located. It provides all other applications with the necessary data.
