Defined service level agreements (SLAs)
SP02 Output control: Overview of spool requests
This is a general list. There are many other tasks that a basic consultant has to deal with. Every day you learn something new!

Since jobs and backups should run at set times for organizational or technical reasons, automating them is a good idea. In simple, clear system environments, many SAP Basis administrators help themselves with SAP CPS (Central Process Scheduling) and simple ABAP batch jobs that start operations or other jobs. Since the desires and the system environments usually grow continuously, this approach becomes complex and confusing over time and troubleshooting often becomes difficult. As a result, maintainability often falls by the wayside and error-proneness can increase. If different jobs are strung together to form chains, further problems arise.
NEW TECHNOLOGIES & INNOVATION
The SAP NetWeaver Integration Technology part of the course covers the basic areas of use and properties of the various integration technologies. Interrelationships between the integration technologies, Web Services, ALE, BAPI, Process Integration, Web Application Server are taught. Further contents are the basic communication technologies: IDoc, RFC, http and SOAP.

IT professionals are taking the first steps in automation with the use of tools like RedHat Ansible. At our company, for example, Ansible is used for mass rollouts of agents in large environments.

Tools such as "Shortcut for SAP Systems" are extremely useful in basic administration.

The database layer is used to store all company data and consists of the database management system (DBMS) and the data itself.

To ensure high software quality, avoid hidden consequential error costs and consciously plan for a test period instead of the risk of time bottlenecks, a methodical approach should be planned.
